Join a great team in Los Angeles, CA.  This is a part-time contract position.  We are looking at hiring a HR Administrator to work remotely in Los Angeles, CA.  Must be able to be onsite occasionally in Los Angeles, CA. 

Human Resources and Business Administrator Job Responsibilities:

Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.  Provides back office, operations, and sales and marketing support for the organization.

Main responsibilities:

  • Understands CA law and HR compliance; Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
  • Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.

  • Defines and consults on marketing talent acquisition and recruitment strategies to support massive growth.​
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.

  • Managing the recruiting pipeline, hiring plans, and recruiting demand from the organization.

  • Maintains organization staff by managing recruiting, testing, and interviewing program

  • Manages relationships with outside recruiting firms

  • Manages on-boarding and off-boarding process including orientation and exit interviews

  • Ensures consistent strategy and compliance objectives across organization.​


  • Bachelors degree preferred.​
  • Total experience of 3+ years in corporate HR practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with Job Boards and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Hands-on HR Admin experience
  • Flexibility and ability to do what is right for the organization
  • Is a team player
  • Is process oriented
